About this lesson

The lesson covers the four capabilities AI brings to budgeting (trend detection, draft generation, dynamic updating and automation), the big data inputs that feed them, and the three benefits: speed, objectivity and streamlining. You'll then work through the six risks you have to govern: data quality, overreliance, implementation cost, staff capability, ethical use of data and regulatory compliance. Using the Fernbrook Bakery example, you'll see how an AI planning platform changes each stage of the budget cycle, and learn to tell a data quality risk from an overreliance risk, the distinction objective test questions most often probe.
