"Why do we discount the terminal value back as well?"
Because it is a value at the END of the forecast period, not today. It gets discounted at the same rate, for the full forecast length.
- What terminal value measures 4:12
- Exit multiple, and when to use it 5:02
- Worked example: valuing Brightsea 9:20
Real mock exams
Sit full mock exams before the real thing.
Every CIMA course includes full mock exams, sat online in an exam-style interface, so the format is familiar long before exam day.
- Objective Test mocks Full timed mocks: 60 questions in 90 minutes, drawn from a large question bank.
- Case study mocks Full mock exams, written online in an exam-style interface.
- Core Activity Mini-mocks One timed task on a single core activity, for practising without sitting a whole paper.
Which of the following best describes terminal value?
