This is the order CIMA recommends in its exam blueprint, and the order the level is taught in here. The three Objective Tests can still be sat in any order; the case study comes once all three are passed.
Strategic Management
Start here, as CIMA recommends. E3 sets the strategic frame the rest of the level argues inside.
Risk Management
Risk and control. It builds the judgement the case study asks for.
Financial Strategy
Financial strategy, and the most technical of the three, so it comes last. Keep valuation and funding fresh for the case study.
Strategic Case Study
Three hours advising a board in a listed-company scenario. The final hurdle of the qualification, and the one that draws on everything before it.
Work back from the case study: the November 2026 pre-seen is released about seven weeks before the window, so aim to finish the last Objective Test before it lands.
