In what order should I sit the ACCA Applied Skills papers?
ACCA allows you to sit the Applied Skills papers in any order. We recommend starting with LW, which has a substantially higher pass rate than the other papers at this level. Studying FR before AA is also sensible, as financial reporting knowledge helps with audit. You can fit PM, TX and FM around that sequence, taking account of your existing knowledge, exemptions and available study time.
How difficult is the ACCA Applied Skills level?
The Skills level is a significant step up from Knowledge. Papers like FR, FM, and AA are technically demanding and require strong exam technique, not just knowledge. The pass rates for Skills papers are typically in the 40-55% range, so solid preparation is essential.

What do I need before starting this level?
Completion of ACCA Applied Knowledge (BT, FA, MA) or accredited exemptions.
